Frauennotruf Münster is a safety initiative originating in England and adopted in Münster, Germany, wherein a woman may indicate that she needs help by asking a staff person in a bar or nightclub “Is Lousie here?” Staff and management have been informed of this pass code and trained act accordingly. This neutral signaling strategy was implemented particularly in response to the deluge of robberies, threats, and sexual assaults perpetrated upon women on December 31, 2015.
