A USC faculty member was stabbed to death while on campus and the suspect was taken into custody according to police reports. The LA fire department responded to a call at around 4:30 pm and took the 25 year old suspect into custody. Security was tightened on campus back in 2012. Another incident regarding a Chinese graduate student attacked by a group of teenagers happened in 2014.
